One of the few good things about having most people not give a shit about your paintings is that you can go back and paint on top of a piece that was previously considered finished without hearing any cries go up that you're destroying a masterpiece.

So as I bathe in the deafening silence of my fan's adoration, I've decided to do some work on this older painting starting with laying down new white gesso for a neutral ground to paint on and penciling in the shapes of some letters.
